盲点の英単語（その8-1）　三角形、台形の面積を求める

前回（その8）に続き、算数の公式を英語で覚えましょう。

まず三角形です。

・三角形　triangle
・底辺　　base
・高さ     height 

「三角形の面積は、底辺かける高さ、割る2です。」

The area of triangle is equal to its base times the height divided by two.

次に台形です。

・台形    trapezoid  発音はトラペゾイド [trˈæpəz`ɔɪd] です。

「台形の面積は、上底たす下底、掛ける高さ、割る2です。」

The area of trapezoid is equal to the sum of both bases times the height divided by two.
